Another Special Announcement......

Another Special Announcement......

         Alright, alright, everyones already guessed it by now! Yes! It's True! It's great! We knew it was bound to happen and although we were hoping to be in a house before hand it is always up to God how and when He decides the timing for our blessings to arrive! Come mid January of '16 we will be adding another little Gerrick to our family! It will be different having a winter baby as all our others have been born smack in the middle of the Summer! I am hoping and praying that a water birth will be feasible again this time around. So far 3 out of 4 have been water births at home and have been very much enjoyable experiences....no, I am not kidding and no, I am not exaggerating! I have found the midwife I would like to use and am very happy that they have their own birthing center rather than working with/in a hospital and having to bend to the rules of modern/western medicine.
         It has been especially fun this time around being able to show the progression of pregnancy to Ephraim. He will be 5 in a few short weeks and has basic understanding of cells and molecules and atoms (he doesn't know it yet, but he loves science!) so watching my developing baby go from a cell to a tadpole looking thing and then seeing pictures of the different stages has been fun and very educational. He is always asking me if my baby's ears look like his yet, or if it is bigger than a blueberry yet or if the food that I'm eating is going to feed baby. What a great experience! Jireh who will be 3 in just over a month can't wait to "pet her" and wants to know when it will be cute! Havilah who will be turning 2 in almost 2 months is oblivious to the whole thing. After I start showing she will probably understand that "something" is changing/happening. She is so gentle with dolls and other babies she sees I have no doubt that she will make a great older sister and not even miss being the baby of the family anymore.
