Hanging Around The Trailer

Hanging Around The Trailer/Campgrounds.....and a lot of pics to prove it!

Our "home" at Findley State Park. Very spacious and lots of trees! I think our lot was the largest in the park....at least from the looks of it.

Taking a walk down to the playground....the kiddos love starting out in the wagon but then end up wanting to walk (aka run) after a few mins. and then back to the wagon again.

Jireh crawling up the playground steps......and then she looses her slightly-too-big rain boots. lol It happens quite frequently.

Ephraim wants SO BADLY to be able to reach (and strong enough to use) the monkey bars! Its just NOT the same if mom/dad help him. He says when he's 4 he'll be old enough and all grown up enough....I guess we will see! :)

The girls love LOVE swinging! I think they could sit in there all day!

Ephraim on the other hand....not a swings type of guy....he likes the slides!

Walking back home. Jireh, aka Miss Independent...gets so determined at times to do things her own way/on her own.

 Girls taking their nap.....

During nap time EP and I do various things....from silly pictures to quiet time (laying on the couch while I do dishes or start dinner, etc) to going outside (its been pretty yucky lately though) to reading books to working on his 'school books' or even working on puzzels or coloring pictures.

West Salem Campground! We decided to try out the campground in West Salem purely for the reason of needing another campground option and EVERYTHING else in NE Ohio is closed until May! Since we can only stay at Findley for a limited amount of time we made our way on a nice weekend to W. Salem. They have a couple ponds/lakes that do NOT require a fishing license, so we bought the kiddos a couple of fishing poles (Ephraim has been obsessed with fishing for a while now) and walked down to the lake! It was absolutely adorable watching the kids! LOL! First fishing experience! Love those memories! Hopefully we will be able to do it again sometime soon!
On the ends of their "trainer" poles were little weighted "fish".....they didnt even realize that they didnt have any hooks and that it was impossible for them to actually CATCH any fish! LOL!
Luke is a real man.....he is not too conceited to use a pink princess fishing pole! ;)

My lil cutie....trying to figure out whats going on.
After EP got the hang of it he was allowed to try standing on the soft mushy muddy bank to cast off....hopefully he doesn't fall in!
Daddy is helping Jireh get the hang of it....she doesnt have a clue whats going on but is happy that she has a pink fishing pole! (and that is NOT a joke!) :)

Look at that face! He is having the time of his life! :)
Meanwhile I am sitting down on the bench swing watching all the going ons....relaxing!

Back at Findley......we had a great weekend just in time for it to end up snowing again. Just when you think Spring has sprung you get slapped in the face with white, fluffy, miserably cold, frozen water! :( BUT isn;t it GORGEOUS non-the-less??? I really do LOVE frozen trees! I think its one of the most gorgeous things winter has to offer!

4 on a couch. Our kids are huge cuddlers....especially if its bedtime and they can use it to their advantage by putting off bedtime for any amount of time.

One day, Jireh said she was tired....so she climbed up in bed and when I went to check up on her she had already passed out. This girl gets really tired BUT if she misses that window...shes up for hrs!

Havi all cuddled up in her makeshift bed. Still trying to figure out what exactly will be the best bed situation for her.

The kids eat their meals on 2 step stools that we already had. They stack, so after they are done eating the kids stack 'em together, then put them right under the table. So far it works out perfectly for meal time. They are both still a little too little to sit at the table and a booster wouldn't work very well. It also makes clean up soooo easy because they are on top of an area play rug so that can get vacuumed without having the hassle of moving the table.  Also, the dining bench seats are cloth and cloth+kids eating do NOT go together. Someday we will make covers for them....maybe! lol

There is a mirror on the wall right across from the bunkbeds....so Ephraim likes to stand on Jireh's bed and sing songs, make silly faces and as he is doing in these pictures, check out his muscles.

We bought 2 games....they are what we are calling our special laundromat games! Its always good to have something new and exciting to keep the kids occupied while we are at the laundromat. So, while the girls were napping I showed Ephraim how to play one of the games (Let's Go Fishin') just to make sure he was coordinated enough to "catch the fish".....its actually quite hard! lol

That evening after Daddy got home, we headed over to the laundromat....Jireh seemed to get the hang of it pretty quickly and mission accomplished it kept them very busy for the duration of washing and drying laundry.
The second game was Don't Break The Ice. They don't follow the directions but instead go to town knocking down as many "ice blocks" as fast as they can!
Havilah has been crawling and crawling and crawling everywhere! So, when we are somewhere that she can't crawl she gets a little frustrated and mad. So, thank goodness there was a table for her to crawl all over!

First time at the Laundromat in Oberlin....it was dirty and not maintained in any way! Half the machines are "out of order". We since, have found another MUCH NICER laundromat!
Ephraim climbed up the refrigerator. He's NOT allowed to do that anymore....last thing we need is to replace the refrigerator (they are over 1k!) But he had fun for a full 3 seconds of climbing! lol

Jireh really enjoys playing under the table...and stacking things....right now she found my spices and stacking them as high as they will go!
Havi making silly faces while eating banana.....
Ephraim gets movie time if its really pouring down outside and the girls are napping.
but he still only sits and watches half the time....the other half he'd rather be playing (especially any fishing game!)
During Easter week we had a bunch of Easter eggs from a hunt at our good friends, the Turnicks and its become the favorite toy in the house. Stacking, opening and closing, switching different colors on the tops and bottoms, hiding stuff in them, having another Easter egg hunt, etc, etc, etc!

Even Havi enjoys sucking on them and tasting them and chewing on them and of course banging them on the table or floor! lol

Another favorite is puzzels and books!

And once again if the big kids are doing it Havilah has to be right there doing it along side them....she wants to be "grown up" so badly!

Only time Havi is fine with taking a break with trying to keep up with her brother and sister is when shes hungry!

Ephraim finding ways to play quietly....hes trapped in a boat with bad guys. They covered him up but hes going to escape.

We go outside whenever we are able to. Usually between eating and napping and cleaning up from meals and making meals it doesn't feel like much time! As the kids get older they will be able to go out without me though (and help more with chores!)

Mommy and Havi cuddle time. She loves her goat milk!

 Jireh Shalom just bein' cute.

When she plays hard, she naps hard. She fell asleep in the morning on the couch while I was vacuuming!

I love when she gets in a cleaning organizing mood....just like Momma! I give her baby wipes and she wipes down knobs, walls, doors, floors, toys, etc.

We have been trying to go through our storage units (we have 2...a 10x30 and a 10x10) We have to figure out what we are keeping and how we are going to fit it in the trailer before our move to Idaho. YES, we are still planning the trip!!! This is mostly all the next size/season up for the kids and a few various kitchen things i wanted to keep.
In case you haven't been able to tell Ephraim likes wearing his PJs as loooong as he can get away with and Jireh enjoys being dressed! Night and day difference those two!
Now that Havilah knows how to climb up on the stools we have to watch out for her trying to snatch the kid's food!
Jireh and I got a chance to paint our nails.....my polish has been in the storage unit....it was really nice having a girly moment with my daughter! :)

Havi enjoys hiding out under the table as well!
Ephraim asked to take a picture....so here we are!
I made a popcorn ball for a special treat.....very very very special cause 1) I will NEVER make them again and 2) They have never had them before and 3) they will probably never have them again for at least a very long time. But boy did it keep them occupied and quiet!!!

Stay Tuned....More To Come!
