Repairs

Keeping up with a blog can be ridiculously time consuming! I have, however, got a treat for you all. As we have been enjoying our trailer we are finding things that need to be fixed, changed our just plain different. Starting out with the water heater. The element burned up so that got changed today. Very easy with a few tools. The most important being a 1 1/2" socket. I won't give details on the whole process but it's not as difficult or scary as other people on the forums make it sound. By the way, we replaced the stock 1400W element with a 2000W element.

Taking a shower with a six gallon hot water tank is a bit of a challenge. A shower head with a "pause" button is helpful but the one we bought literally exploded! So, to facilitate my short wet-lather-rinse showers added my own pause "button" that can handle the pressure.

The "entertainment center" was a total joke! There is no way you would be able to watch a movie, from the couch, on a screen that would fit in the corner. The shelf turned out ok.
There are a few other adjustments we have made including a generator box on the back. I'll take pictures of that later.
