Cabelas Fun....

Psalm 118:24  This is the day that the Lord has made;

    let us rejoice and be glad in it.

Today is Friday, March 7th. Hard to imagine that we have only technically been on our trip for 1 day...it feels like its been a week! Now, don't get me wrong, a great week! We've already had so much fun and our trip has just started! Good conversation, good times listening to the kids talk to each other and laugh together, good music, good relaxing stress relieving traveling. What more could you ask for? Well, Luke would ask to go to a Cabelas...that would make the trip that much better. So, to make that wish come true for Luke, we had originally decided to stop in Kearney, NE. We were nearing the exit, a billboard informed us only a mile to go! We started talking, then a truck passed us and got us talking about something else and then all of a sudden, we realized we missed the exit!!! Let's just turn around...great idea....NOT! The next exit was several miles down I-80 and we didn't think it was worth driving an extra 30 mins JUST to get to a Cabelas! Sorry Luke, maybe next time! :)

After quite a few miles later, Luke looks up and sees another billboard for Cabelas. It was meant to be! LOL  It was the perfect time to stop and eat, gas up and stretch our legs. I've never been to a Cabelas, and Luke has only been to one once and was super excited to return.
